Duties
- Assist with the preparation of job sites by clearing debris, setting up tools, and organizing materials for efficient workflow.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to cut, shape, and install hardscape materials including pavers, bricks, stone,
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately execute design plans for various hardscape elements.
- Install retaining walls, patios, walkways, steps, and other outdoor features with attention to detail and quality standards.
- Use heavy equipment such as compactors or mini-excavators under supervision to prepare surfaces or move materials.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time, maintaining safety protocols throughout all tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in construction or landscaping is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints or schematics; knowledge of construction management principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of plumbing or electrical systems related to outdoor features is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
