General Sales Manager - Sales & Studio Operations

Zivel Performance & Recovery is Northwest Arkansas' premier recovery and wellness studio, helping clients recover faster, feel better, move better, and live healthier lives. We offer cryotherapy, red light therapy, infrared sauna, compression therapy, float therapy, oxygen bar, power plate, and advanced body contouring services.
We are seeking an energetic, sales-driven leader to oversee our Bentonville studio and help drive the next phase of growth for our business.
This is not a traditional retail or front desk management position. The General Sales Manager is responsible for increasing studio visibility, driving memberships and revenue, supporting marketing initiatives, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering exceptional client experience.
Position Summary
The General Sales Manager serves as the primary leader of the Bentonville studio and is responsible for driving membership growth, increasing revenue, promoting community awareness, executing marketing initiatives, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering exceptional client experience.
This role is highly focused on business growth, sales, client engagement, and studio performance. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, relationship-oriented, and excited to help grow a thriving wellness business.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Oversee the studio's social media presence and content calendar
- Create and coordinate photos, videos, stories, client testimonials, and promotional content
- Maintain and update Google Business Profile content, photos, and promotions
- Drive online review generation and reputation management
- Execute monthly marketing campaigns and promotions
- Build relationships with local businesses, fitness studios, healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations
- Represent Zivel at networking events, wellness fairs, and community events
- Identify opportunities to increase awareness, traffic, and community engagement
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive membership sales and studio revenue growth
- Conduct consultations and recommend services based on client goals
- Promote memberships, recovery services, and body contouring programs
- Ensure all leads receive timely follow-up and nurturing
- Increase client retention through exceptional service and relationship building
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics
- Support referral campaigns, membership drives, and promotional initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates, bookings, and client retention
- Work closely with ownership to achieve studio growth goals
Studio Standards & Staff Support
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Reinforce Zivel standards, processes, and service expectations
- Ensure a consistent and exceptional client experience across all staff interactions
- Serve as a resource for staff questions and day-to-day operational needs
- Communicate opportunities, concerns, and operational challenges to ownership
- Assist with schedule coordination and coverage needs
- Help maintain a positive, professional, and welcoming studio environment
- Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and strong customer service
Studio Operations
- Ensure smooth day-to-day operation of the studio
- Open and close the studio as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
- Manage scheduling, inventory, supplies, and facility needs
- Oversee appointment flow and customer experience
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly
- Ensure all policies and procedures are consistently followed
- Assist with body contouring services as needed following certification and training

Qualifications
Required
- 3 years of leadership, sales, business development, or customer-facing management experience
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive business results
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with excellent follow-through
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative
- Positive attitude and growth mindset
- Passion for wellness, health, fitness, recovery, or personal development
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
Preferred
- Experience in wellness, fitness, boutique fitness, spa, medical spa, hospitality, or membership-based businesses
- Experience with social media marketing and content creation
- Experience managing business performance metrics and KPIs
- Experience with community outreach, networking, or local business development
- Knowledge of recovery services or body contouring treatments
