Zito Media has a full-time opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist. This position is responsible for all accounts payable functions for the company that will ultimately assist in the accurate and timely creation of financial statements.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Handle accounts payable for multiple entities.
- Analyze invoices/statements for accuracy and address any concerns/discrepancies with the vendors and/or other departments within the company.
- Accurately assign cost centers and general ledger accounts to all expenses.
- Ensure invoices are processed and paid timely while adhering to departmental procedures.
- Process invoices into the accounting system including data entry, assigning requests for approval, and monitoring the approval to invoice completion.
- Process and review expense reports, advance requests and credit card receipts/statements.
- Prepare ACH files, print/stuff checks as needed.
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors.
- Address vendor payment inquiries.
- Recording of miscellaneous bank deposits as necessary.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties including but not limited to additional accounting/vendor related projects as assigned.
- Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and general accounting knowledge.
- Ability to work independently, and prioritize tasks in order to complete assigned duties.
- Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
- Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
- Comply with national and local financial regulations.
- 1-2 years in accounts payable and/or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or GED, Associates degree or higher preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook and Excel.
