Production Technician

Job Title: Production Technician – Sanding & Material Preparation

Location: ZIRCAR Refractory Composites Inc.
Job Type: Full-Time (Monday–Friday, [7:00 AM – 3:30 PM])
Compensation: $16-$18

Job Responsibilities:

· Safely and efficiently operate industrial equipment and hand tools; including but not limited to dust collection units, large format sanders, and various power tools.

· Clean and organize work areas to maintain a safe and efficient workspace

· Prepare raw materials for production (e.g., measuring, cutting, staging)

· Inspect materials for defects and report any quality concerns

· Follow all company safety protocols and procedures

· Assist with general factory duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required

· Ability to operate a forklift- preferred but not required

· Attention to detail and commitment to quality

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Willingness to learn and follow instructions

Physical Requirements:

· Lift up to 80lbs

· Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

· Comfortable working in a dusty or noisy environment (protective gear provided)
