Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Information Technology System Administrator. The role is based in the El Paso, TX Area with some work-from-home flexibility. The Information Technology System Administrator/Technician will be responsible for daily tasks including system administration, network administration, providing technical support, and troubleshooting. The role requires maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and efficiency.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and service-driven Systems Information Technician, detail-oriented and service-driven Systems Information Technician to provide comprehensive IT support our external clients. This is a full-time hybrid role for an Information Technology System Administrator/Technician. This role involves hands-on technical assistance across a range of systems, including desktop support, software installation, troubleshooting, and general IT maintenance. The ideal candidate is proactive, responsive, and committed to delivering reliable technical solutions in a small business setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day desktop and end-user support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and business software tools.
- Troubleshoot technical problems efficiently—both remotely and on-site—ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Assist with user account creation, permission management, and routine system updates.
- Support data backup systems, antivirus tools, and other security protocols.
- Document support procedures, system configurations, and solutions for future reference.
- Communicate clearly with non-technical users to resolve issues and explain technical matters in an accessible manner.
- Collaborate with external vendors or service providers when escalated support is required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience) or;
- Associate’s degree with minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support, preferably within a small business or multi-role environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac OS environments, Microsoft 365, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (routers, switches, firewalls) is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests with professionalism and prioritization.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
