About the Opportunity:
ZipStaff is seeking a senior SAP ABAP Lead Developer to design, build, and support complex SAP technical solutions within ECC and S/4HANA environments for a global technology services firm. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in ABAP development, RICEFW objects, and integration technologies, with proven experience delivering complex SAP developments in manufacturing environments. Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory. This is a hybrid/on-site role in Reno, Nevada, with collaboration across business, IT, and global delivery teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in ABAP development, RICEFW objects, and integration technologies, with proven experience delivering complex SAP developments in manufacturing environments. Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory. This is a hybrid/on-site role in Reno, Nevada, with collaboration across business, IT, and global delivery teams.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead SAP technical development activities across ECC applications.
- Design and develop RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Develop and support ABAP Objects, BAPIs, BADIs, User Exits, Enhancements, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
- Build integrations with external systems using IDocs, RFCs, Web Services, and APIs.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Support performance tuning and technical troubleshooting.
- Work closely with functional teams to deliver business solutions.
- Participate in S/4HANA custom code remediation and modernization initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- 12–15 years of SAP ABAP development experience.
- Strong SAP ECC technical expertise.
- Proven experience delivering complex SAP developments.
- Knowledge of integration technologies and technical architecture.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
- Experience supporting large-scale SAP ECC environments.
- Ability to work hybrid/on-site in Reno, NV and collaborate with business, IT, and global delivery teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA Technical experience.
- Exposure to CDS Views, OData, Fiori, and SAP BTP.
- SAP technical certifications preferred.
- Background supporting S/4HANA custom code remediation and modernization.
