About Zipp Zapp
Zipp Zapp Pest Management has protected homes and businesses throughout the Baltimore region for over a decade. We've built our reputation on reliable service, modern treatment methods, and a customer experience that goes far beyond the spray. While the big national brands offer you a clipboard and a quota, we offer something better, ownership of your route, your results, and your earning potential. As we scale into 2026, we're looking for a seasoned technician ready to earn like a professional and be treated like one.
Who You Are
You're a licensed or highly experienced pest control technician who knows this industry inside and out. General pest, termite, mosquito, bed bugs, and seasonal invaders are second nature to you. You're professional, dependable, and thrive working independently, while consistently delivering 5-star customer experiences. You're tired of being micromanaged by someone who's never run a route. You want autonomy, accountability, and a company that pays for performance.
What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality pest, termite, mosquito, and bed bug services to residential and commercial clients across the Baltimore metro area
- Identify pest issues and develop effective treatment plans using Integrated Pest Management (IPM) best practices
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear, professional communication about findings, treatments, and prevention
- Document all services accurately through our CRM platform (FieldRoutes)
- Handle pesticides, tools, and application equipment in full compliance with Maryland MDA regulations
- Inspect and treat crawl spaces, attics, basements, and perimeter zones as needed
- Manage and maintain your assigned vehicle, equipment, and materials to company standards
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities (termite, mosquito, exclusion add-ons) to grow your route value
What You Bring
- Minimum 2 years of professional pest control field experience (Maryland state certification strongly preferred — unlicensed candidates with strong experience will be considered for a training pathway)
- Solid working knowledge of IPM, exclusion techniques, and modern treatment protocols
- Experience with or willingness to learn CRM platforms (FieldRoutes experience is a plus)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong communication, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors across all weather conditions
