Base Salary: $56,250 to $93,750 annually DOE

The Consumer Sales Trainer will oversee the implementation, scheduling, teaching, training delivery and learning assessment and performance progress of all aspects of the Consumer Sales personnel.
This position is to be located within Western Washington, Eastern Washington, Northern Oregon, or Coeur D’ Alene, ID areas. This is mostly remote but must be able to travel to a local office up to 15% of the time when necessary.

Training Program Development & Implementation
- Develop and implement training strategy, program and curriculum for the sales organization that increases the Direct Sales team’s productivity and performance.
- Launch all Residential product training, including new products, existing products, and related pricing.
- Condense complex and technical content, into an effective sales focused framework concerning course development and execution.
- Sales training facilitation to include scripting, time management, sales efficiency and increase in close rates.
- Delivery of blended learning model to include both face to face and virtual classroom-based learning.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to meet Sales enablement needs and training, billing performance, software and support, routing tools and order entry.
- Regularly observe team member performance on calls and client communication and provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and documentation for continual sales performance improvement.
- Establish and maintain formal and informal key performance indicators to track effectiveness of sales training program and initiatives.
- Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent professional experience in sales training and development.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in sales training and development, including curriculum design and facilitation.
- Minimum of one (1) year of proven success in a consumer-facing sales role, such as call center, door-to-door (D2D), or multi-dwelling unit (MDU) account management.
- Proven leadership experience in managing and delivery sales training programs within fast-growing organizations.
- Ability to create and maintain an engaging, motivating learning environment that drives performance and development.
- Fluency in Microsoft productivity tools such as Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Experience in telecommunications or similar industry preferred.
- Experience with ADDIE and Agile frameworks is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate training for various size groups, both in-person and virtually, across a diverse audience.
- Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop and manage training programs and projects in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
- Ability to explain complex information and instructions in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively with other personnel to meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills.
