Pre-Glue employees will be working on a manufacturing style line completing a variety of tasks at different points in the process. Many of these tasks consists of understanding paperwork associated with daily production schedules. This is a fast-pace, team-oriented environment where we strive to meet production demands while supporting each other whenever able. A clean work area must be maintained throughout each shift as well as company rules and safety regulations must be followed at all times.

Responsibilities
- Grade each piece of lumber coming down chain by visually inspecting all four sides, and making sure it is the proper grade for lay-up.
- Ability to hand apply glue on the Finger Joints with a handheld Finger Joint applicator.
- Ability to operate a small panel box, for out feed finger joint, rolls, chain, in rolls to make up, and make up section.
- Alert at all times.
- Know and utilize all Lock-out/Tag-out procedures associated with your duties.
- Report any potential machinery defects immediately.
- Report any potential safety risks immediately.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Down time is clean up and minor maintenance time.
