Want a seat at our table? We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on VP of Data and AI to lead the development and execution of our AI and machine learning vision. In this key leadership role, you’ll guide high-impact projects from concept to implementation, ensuring they deliver measurable results across the business. You’ll manage and mentor a cross-functional team of data scientists, engineers, and AI specialists—fostering innovation, improving operational efficiency, and shaping the future of data-driven decision-making at Ziosk.
The Main Course – Responsibilities
- Shape AI Strategy – Lead our AI and machine learning roadmap to drive innovation and business impact.
- Drive AI Projects – Oversee AI/ML initiatives from idea to implementation, ensuring they scale effectively and align with company goals.
- Manage Data Systems – Ensure strong data governance and build reliable pipelines for collecting, storing, and processing high-quality data.
- Partner Across Teams – Collaborate with departments across the business to identify opportunities and integrate AI solutions that add value.
- Select the Right Tools – Choose and implement the best AI platforms and technologies, working closely with IT to support scalability.
- Measure Success – Set clear KPIs for AI initiatives and continuously optimize model performance for accuracy and fairness.
What You Bring to the Table – Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Data Science, AI, Computer Science, or a related field
- 8–10 years of experience in AI/ML, including 5 years in a leadership role
- Proven success delivering scalable AI solutions and managing cross-functional teams
- Strong technical skills in AI/ML frameworks, big data tools, and cloud platforms
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
