Security Camera Installer

Zions Security Alarms is looking to hire a new technician that is experienced in installing IP Cameras. (using cat5 or 6 - Crimping heads etc)

We are also looking for a technician that can install new security systems and service existing ones. Experience with ADT, Qolsys, or Alarm.com is a plus.

Ideally able to travel to 100 mile radius around area to service and install.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure CCTV systems and security cameras according to schematics.
• Perform cabling and low voltage electrical work to ensure proper system functionality.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of security systems, including fire alarms and intrusion detection systems.
• Collaborate with clients to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively while adhering to safety standards.
• Document installations and service reports accurately for future reference.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CCTV installation and maintenance
• Experience with low voltage electrical systems and cabling
• Skilled in using hand tools and power tools
• Familiarity with fire alarm systems and schematics
• Background in service technician roles and field service
• Knowledge of computer networking and security systems
• Understanding of alarm system sales and surveillance techniques

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
