The ideal candidate for this position will have the skills and experience necessary to:
- Assist small business owners in putting together business plans, advise in financing new business and offering other resources and matching them with resource partners.
- Profile new clients, assess the needs to the clients and follow-up with clients.
- Educate new clients about the resources available within the business resource center and other Zions Bank departments.
- Provide counseling to clients through one-on-one consultations, e-mail or over the phone.
- Attend and represent the bank at business lunches and other events as requested.
- Liaise between ZBRC and all internal department and business partners to ensure proper communication and efficient operations.
- Public speaking may be component of the position.
- Maintain relationships with all service providers and partners
- Requires a Bachelors degree in business, finance, economics or related field and 2 years experience with banking and financial services industry, relationship management, sales, or other directly related experience.
- A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
- Working knowledge of banking products and services, strategic planning, and business development.
- Must have excellent communication, analysis and computer skills.
- Ability to interact with various types of clients.
- Knowledge business plan development knowledge.
- Ability to understand a broad perspective of issues related to any type of businesses.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
