Role Description
The Basketball Head Coach is an on-site position located in Bergen County, NJ. The coach will be responsible for leading and developing the basketball program, designing training sessions, mentoring players, and implementing strategies to improve performance. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting practice sessions, developing game strategies, overseeing player development, managing team dynamics, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Qualifications
- Strong skills in Basketball Coaching, including game strategy development and fostering player growth
- Expertise in Coaching and Training athletes to excel in technical skills, physical fitness, and teamwork
- In-depth knowledge of Basketball, including game rules, techniques, tactics, and trends
- Excellent Communication and leadership skills to motivate players and manage team dynamics
- Conflict resolution and team-building capabilities to foster a positive, inclusive environment
- Previous experience as a basketball coach at the high school, collegiate, or equivalent level
