Job Summary
Zion Fire Protection, LLC is seeking skilled and experienced Fire Sprinkler Pipefitters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in the layout, fabrication, installation, and maintenance of commercial fire sprinkler systems. You will work from blueprints, ensure compliance with NFPA standards, and maintain high safety standards on-site.
Duties
- Installation & Fabrication: Install, repair, and maintain piping systems, hangers, sprinkler heads, and valves.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications to layout systems accurately.
- System Testing: Conduct hydrostatic testing and troubleshoot system faults or malfunctions.
- Compliance: Ensure all installations adhere to local fire codes, NFPA standards, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Skills
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in fire sprinkler fitting or a related trade.
- Proficiency in handling various piping materials (steel, CPVC, etc.) and joining methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints and technical documents.
- Possess own tools of the trade.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Strong commitment to safety.
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
