Representative Duties
- Manages athletic events (e.g. facility set-up/clean-up, schedule transportation, schedule officials, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring venues are prepared to allow for successful event.
- Performs personnel administrative functions of coach staff: hiring, counseling, training, supervising and evaluating.
- Maintain a budget for interscholastic athletic programs.
- Ensure that all participants have a physical examination and insurance verifications per school policy.
- Be present or arrange for a school representative for all home games, and assign a coach to assume responsibility at all away games.
- Arrange for officials for all interscholastic events and make arrangements for payment of officials.
- Schedule the use of all athletic facilities and fields for games and practices.
- Arrange for employees for all home games including timekeepers and scorekeepers.
- Communicate and document medical and emergency procedures and arrange for the availability of medical supplies at all home activities.
- Perform other duties consistent with the position assigned
