Accounting - Accountant
The Accountant will play a key role in Treasury operations (cash management, payments, deposits) and Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely financial processes. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of accounting experience, a strong understanding of transactional accounting, and the ability to work cross-functionally to support daily finance operations. This is a junior-level position.
Responsibilities:
- General Accounting Support
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and other balance sheet items.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with preparation of audit schedules and respond to auditor requests.
- Identify and implement improvements in accounting processes and internal controls.
- Treasury Management
- Monitor daily cash balances and support cash flow forecasting.
- Develop and manage payment processes in SAP to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconcile bank accounts and investigate discrepancies.
- Manage AP aging reports and support resolution of vendor issues.
- Assist with AP-related accruals during month-end close.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in Treasury and/or AP.
- Solid understanding of general accounting principles and AP processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communicator with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Bilingual in English/Korean is a plus.
