Compensation

$140k - $250K per year based on skill, availability, and completed project volume.

Installers are paid weekly for completed work.

Experienced installers completing 2 jobs per week can average $2,500–$3,000 weekly. Installers capable of completing 3 jobs per week can average $4,000–$4,500 weekly.

Position Summary

ZINTEX Remodeling Group is hiring experienced acrylic shower and bath installers in the Wichita area.

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity for skilled installers who can complete bathroom remodeling projects from tear-out through final detail work. Installers must be set up with their own truck, enclosed trailer or full-size van, and tools.

We provide pre-sold, scheduled jobs and local production support. Installers do not have to chase leads, bid jobs, or sell projects. The focus is completing high-quality shower and bath installations inside customers’ homes.

Individual installers and small crews are welcome.

What You’ll Do

The Acrylic Shower & Bath Installer will be responsible for completing residential bathroom remodeling projects, including:

• Performing tear-outs and demolition of existing tubs, showers, and wet areas
• Installing acrylic shower and bath wall systems
• Installing shower pans, bathtubs, surrounds, and related wet-area products
• Completing tub-to-shower conversions
• Installing or connecting plumbing valves, PEX, drains, fixtures, and accessories
• Handling drywall repair, trim, caulking, and finish work
• Completing related upgrades such as flooring, cabinets, countertops, or other project-specific items when required
• Taking accurate measurements and using standard power tools safely
• Maintaining a clean and respectful workspace inside occupied homes
• Communicating professionally with homeowners
• Following ZINTEX installation standards and job documentation requirements
• Delivering high-quality work that meets company and customer expectations

Required Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have:

• Own truck, enclosed trailer, box truck, or full-size van capable of transporting materials
• Minimum 2 years of bathroom remodeling, home renovation, or home repair experience
• Hands-on plumbing skills, including experience with valves, fixtures, drains, PEX, tubs, showers, or related bathroom plumbing
• Ability to complete shower or bath remodels from tear-out through finish work
• Own installation tools and equipment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Strong measuring, cutting, power tool, and problem-solving skills
• Clean finish-work standards
• Professional communication skills with homeowners and production staff
• Business insurance or willingness to obtain business insurance if selected

Experience with brands or companies such as Jacuzzi, BCI, Onyx, Kohler, Bath Planet, Re-Bath, Bath Fitter, West Shore Home, Leaf Home Bath, MaxHome, Renuity, New Bath Today, Five Star Bath Solutions, Mad City Windows & Baths, Luxury Bath, American Standard Home Services, Home Depot installation services, Lowe’s installation services, or similar bath remodeling companies is a strong plus.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on bathroom remodeler or shower/tub installer who can work independently, solve field issues, communicate professionally with homeowners, and deliver clean, high-quality installations.

This role is best suited for experienced installers, owner/operators, subcontractors, remodeling contractors, and small crews who are already equipped for 1099 work and want steady project volume.
