What are the responsibilities and job description for the Application of Remote Sensing and High Resolution Models to the Coastal Oceans position at Zintellect?
About the NASA Postdoctoral Program
The NASA Postdoctoral Program (NPP) offers unique research opportunities to highly-talented scientists to engage in ongoing NASA research projects at a NASA Center, NASA Headquarters, or at a NASA-affiliated research institute. These one- to three-year fellowships are competitive and are designed to advance NASA’s missions in space science, Earth science, aeronautics, space operations, exploration systems, and astrobiology.
Description:
Dr. Jorge Vazquez (primary advisor) Dr. Dimitris Menemenlis (collaborator) The opportunity seeks a qualified post-rodoctal candidate to apply remote sensing data and high resolution models to the coastal regions. Overall goal is to better understand the processes leading to coastal upwelling and and the temporal and spatial variability from the seasonal to climate scale.
