We have an immediate opening for a full-time shipping and receiving forklift driver. This individual must be self-motivated, able to learn new concepts quickly, and multitask efficiently.
The position is responsible for the following, but not limited to:
- Load and unload large, bulky steel items from trucks
- Identify and tag orders
- Stage orders
- Detect and communiate paperwork discrepancies
- Keep the yard organized and clean
- Verify orders are correct before shipping
- Special tasks and projects as assigned
Qualifications:
- Ability to work safely
- Experience loading and unloading flatbed trailers
- Experience moving large, bulky items with a forklift
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Customer-centric focus with drivers, customers, and other stakeholders
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Accurately read and understand paperwork
- Operate with a high level of professionalism
