What are the responsibilities and job description for the Creative Strategist position at ZING?
Key Responsibilities:
- Write performance-driven UGC ad scripts for mobile games and app-related campaigns.
- Develop short-form drama ad scripts based on existing scenes, emotional hooks, and key moments.
- Break down current ad creatives and drama materials to identify strong hooks, pacing, emotional triggers, and conversion points.
- Turn existing footage, drama scenes, and references into new testable script angles and creative concepts.
- Generate multiple script variations for different hooks, structures, tones, and audience segments.
- Use AI tools to accelerate script writing, concept iteration, creative ideation, and production prep.
- Support AI-assisted creative workflows by translating concepts and scripts into usable prompts, references, and production-ready directions.
- Work closely with the creative lead and post-production teams to provide script briefs, edit notes, and creative direction.
- Organize and summarize learnings from top-performing ads into reusable creative patterns and frameworks.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in performance creative, ad scripting, paid social creative, UGC scripting, short-form video strategy, or related roles.
- Strong ability to write hooks, ad scripts, UGC concepts, and conversion-oriented creative angles.
- Ability to break down existing ad creatives and turn them into stronger testable script ideas.
- Familiarity with AI tools for writing, ideation, image/video generation, or creative workflow support.
- Strong sense of audience psychology, pacing, emotional hooks, and CTA structure.
- Excellent written English and strong communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, feedback-heavy environment.
- Experience in gaming, entertainment, streaming, or narrative-driven content is a plus.
