QC Technician

Location: Piscataway, NJ

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM (on site)

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Leading flavor and fragrance manufacturer located in Piscataway, NJ is in need of a QC Technician to join the team! This individual will support the day to day activities of the department in assuring the quality of the goods produced in the facility.

Duties

• Perform sample testing for production and internal labs using organoleptic, physical, and chemical analysis
• Assist with special assignments as instructed by chemist and/or group leader
• Conduct basic laboratory maintenance and cleaning
• Ensure all lab consumables are replenished in a timely manner.
• Complies with all safety rules and guidelines, report all potential issues. Complies with the chemical hygiene plan.
• Actively participates in all departmental and company safety meetings, training sessions and activities.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements:

• Relevant QC/Lab experience
• Background in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field
