Location: Paramus, NJ

Pay Rate: $33.65–$35.10 per hour (equivalent to approximately $70,000–$73,000 annually)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with a one-hour lunch

About The Opportunity

We are seeking an organized, proactive, and collaborative On-Site Operations Specialist to support relationships with contract manufacturing partners and ensure smooth manufacturing operations. This role serves as a key link between internal teams and external manufacturing partners, helping maintain product quality, operational efficiency, and reliable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Operations & Partner Support

• Serve as the primary on-site contact for assigned contract manufacturing partners.
• Support production, shipping and receiving, inventory management, and operational issue resolution.
• Coordinate packaging and formulation samples, artwork reviews, manufacturing specifications, and quality inspection standards.
• Communicate production updates, document changes, and operational requirements to manufacturing partners.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in Salesforce or related business systems.
• Identify and escalate production delays, supply interruptions, quality concerns, and operational risks.
  
  

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Regulatory, R&D, and manufacturing teams to maintain quality standards and compliance.
• Support investigations involving product deviations, nonconformances, customer complaints, audit findings, and out-of-specification results.
• Assist with change control processes involving formulations, packaging, raw materials, manufacturing processes, and specifications.
• Promote continuous improvement, quality ownership, and operational excellence.
  
  

Relationship Management

• Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external manufacturing partners.
• Ensure timely communication, accurate documentation, and effective issue resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to support shared business objectives.
  
  

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in contract manufacturing, filling, blending, packaging, supply chain, or manufacturing operations preferred.
• Experience in cosmetics, beauty, personal care, consumer packaged goods (CPG), or a related industry is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, or similar ERP and reporting systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between the Paramus lab and local manufacturing facilities as needed.
• A proactive mindset and willingness to grow in manufacturing operations, quality processes, and supply chain management.
