Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a consumer product development manufacturing company in the Cary, IL area, is seeking a Metrology Technician to join their team! Metrology Technician Job Summary:Shift: 1st shift - 8a-4:30pPay: $21-$28/hr BOE Logs incoming mold audits into mold audit databasePerforms dimensional measurements on parts from new or modified molds Enters dimensional mold audit data into computer Performs calibration on all measuring equipment used to release product or establish product requirements Maintains equipment calibration database on computer Performs measurement systems analysis on measurement gages and techniques Performs capability studies on mold audit submissions as required Initiates Corrective Action Requests and verifies corrective action completion related to calibration equipment Develops and maintains programs for the Smart Scope Designs and develops fixtures for the Smart Scope Provides technical support and maintenance for Smart Scope Provides training for operation and use of gages Performs audits and participates in Internal Audit ProgramMetrology Technician Qualifications:Must possess a minimum of High School Diploma or GED Must be able to lift/move up to approximately 40 pounds Must be able to stand 30% and walk 20% of the shift Must possess computer skills including Excel and basic Access Must be detail oriented and have an analytical mind Must possess good communication skills Must possess strong attention to detail Must have good visual acuity and color discrimination #ZINGZIP#ZINGMWHVCompany DescriptionZing Recruiting is dedicated to delivering candidates and client’s alike a great experience for each unique position.
