Medical Payment Poster – Tarrytown, NY – $22/hour
Zing Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Payment Poster to join a Healthcare Consultant Company in Tarrytown, NY. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in medical billing, payment posting, EOBs, insurance payments, and revenue cycle management.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately post payments in NextGen with proper reason codes
Process payments from lockbox and insurance carriers
Assist the Cash Control Department with batch reconciliation
Review daily cash reports to verify proper posting of payments
Ensure batches are balanced and post correctly via background processors
Maintain HIPAA compliance by handling EOBs securely
Must Have / Requirements:
Experience in medical payment posting or billing
Knowledge of insurance payments, EOBs, and refunds
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to maintain confidential information and follow HIPAA
Strong multitasking skills and initiative
