What You’ll Do
- Design, upgrade, and optimize HVAC, compressed air, chilled water, and process piping systems.
- Lead mechanical scope for facility expansions and equipment installations.
- Review drawings, submittals, and commissioning plans to ensure quality and readiness.
- Partner with maintenance teams to troubleshoot issues and build preventive maintenance strategies.
- Monitor system health using BMS/CMMS tools and drive energy?efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, local codes, and environmental regulations.
- Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (PE/EIT a plus).
- At least 3 years in manufacturing or industrial facilities engineering, 5 years is better.
- Experience with HVAC, boilers, compressed air, chilled water, and utility systems.
- Ability to design piping, ductwork, and mechanical controls.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
- Strong analytical skills, project management ability, and comfort juggling multiple priorities.
