Leading flavor & fragrance company has an immediate need for a Forklift Operator/Material Handler.
Job Description
- Use scanner/tablet to receive and inspect fragrance raw materials, packaging, and supplies
- Safely transfer raw materials from containers (totes, barrels, drums) into dispensing equipment for use by compounders
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to move materials throughout the facility
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to production areas to support workflow and minimize downtime
- Maintain accurate records and inventory data entry
- Forklift experience and a strong commitment to safety are non-negotiable
- Experience in manufacturing or working with raw materials is highly preferred
- Must be comfortable working in an environment with strong fragrance odors
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around industrial equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in material handling or warehouse operations
- Valid forklift certification and proficiency in material handling equipment
- Basic computer skills (inventory tracking, data entry)
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Understanding of and adherence to safety procedures
- Must be able to work in a production environment with fragrance-heavy conditions
