Key Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee preventative and corrective maintenance on fabrication equipment and facility systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
- Recommend and implement improvements to increase up time and equipment performance.
- Support machine upgrades, installations, and safety enhancements.
- Collaborate with leadership on equipment purchasing and installation planning.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to team members on equipment and maintenance procedures.
- At least 2 years of experience working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical maintenance and repair systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA standards.
- 2 years in a heavy industrial or steel fabrication environment.
- Knowledge of AC/DC motors, VFDs, power transformers, and PLCs.
- Experience with forklifts, mobile cranes, or other heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and vendor coordination.
