Demand Planner

Title: Sr Demand Planner

Location: Lenexa Kansas 66215

Pay Rate: $45/hr on W2

Duration: 6 months

Experience they are looking for:

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
• Demand forecasting experience — creating product or item forecasts using historical data, statistical analysis, market trends, promotions, and customer sales plans.
• Inventory management — monitoring inventory levels, product availability, inventory aging, and stock ratios while balancing customer service and cost.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills — comfortable working with data, analyzing trends, and building or adjusting forecasts.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills — able to identify forecast variances, assess risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Cross-functional communication — able to collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts and business needs.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented — accurate with data, able to manage competing priorities and work independently.
• Pharmaceutical or other regulated-industry experience preferred, not required.

The daily tasks of the Demand Planner:

• Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned products and product families.
• Analyze sales, market demand, promotions, and customer information to adjust forecasts.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to establish an agreed-upon forecast in both units and revenue.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to ensure inventory and supply can support forecasted demand.
• Monitor forecast accuracy and inventory performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand, supply, and financial plans.
• Identify potential inventory and supply risks and help develop solutions.
