Payroll Specialist | ADP Workforce Now

Location: Hazlet, NJ

Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Pay Range: $22–$27 per hour (depending on experience)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Process weekly, biweekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payrolls using ADP Workforce Now
• Manage the full payroll lifecycle including time and attendance, deductions, overtime, shift changes, compensation updates, and withholding adjustments
• Perform pre- and post-payroll reconciliations to ensure payroll accuracy
• Prepare payroll and related reports for month-end
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries through a ticketing system
• Support periodic and year-end payroll reporting
• Assist with additional payroll-related projects as needed
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 3 years of payroll processing experience using ADP Workforce Now
• Solid understanding of payroll processing principles
• E-Time experience is a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High attention to detail with a strong respect for confidentiality
• Ability to work under strict deadlines in a high-volume environment
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Word
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management
