Zin Solutions, tower division, is seeking an Assembly and Integration Mechanic. The ideal candidate should thrive in learning environments that encourage technical evolution and leadership. In addition, the employee must show pride in workmanship and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in inventory management
- Assemble equipment using power tools, hand tools, etc
- Ensure process workflows are followed and improved
- Redline drawings as required
- Communicate with colleagues and supervisors
- Identify and communicate quality issues
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management
- Comply with company policies, regulations, and procedures
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED with 1-3 years of experience working in a manufacturing or assembly environment
- Skillful knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and assembling structures with the ability to learn the integration of large structure for DoD
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
- Must be capable of reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Must have aptitude to learn and utilize production travelers, documents, drawings, specifications written and oral instruction to perform tasks necessary to meet production requirements
- Frequently required to deburr, grind, and drill
- On-site employment, no remote
- Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical wiring knowledge and schematic understanding
- Fabrication and/or machining experience
- Planning and scheduling experience
- Defense experience a plus
