Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to work the floor for PM shifts within our bustling restaurant environment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate all front-of-house and kitchen staff to ensure efficient restaurant operations
- Oversee food preparation, presentation, and quality control to meet company standards
- Manage POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
- Monitor inventory control, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels to reduce waste
- Train new staff members on food safety, customer service protocols, and operational procedures
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to ensure high satisfaction levels
- Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours
- Oversee food production processes including catering, banquet events, and casual dining services
- Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and overall restaurant management strategies
Experience
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision, ideally within quick service & fast food or fine dining environments
- Strong background in culinary operations, kitchen management, and hospitality management
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, staff training & development, and supervising diverse teams
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and food safety standards in the hospitality industry
- Prior experience in managing shifts within casual dining or hotel food service settings is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview candidates and lead training sessions effectively
