What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Rigging Associate position at Zim Sailing?
Production Rigging
This is an active, hands-on position, cutting and building wire and synthetic rope parts, swaging, nicro-pressing, riveting and producing all rigging products. We’re looking for workers with experience to help us grow.
Job Duties Include:
- - Cutting ropes and wires to length
- - Pressing wires and fittings
- - Production of all wire products
- - Finish work, polishing
Skills
- Previous experience in rigging of rope or wire products
- Ability to read schematics and manuals
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude, a problem solver
- Willingness to work hard in a physical job
- Experience in machine shop or similar environment
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Forklift experience is a plus.
