The Strategic Operations & Partnerships Team collaborates with our most senior leaders to craft our strategy, measure progress vs. our strategic goals, identify ways to accelerate our efforts including via partnerships and facilitate execution where necessary.About the role
In this role, you will be exposed to a variety of exciting projects and opportunities to work the leadership team, make an impact on broader strategy and ensure the success of our growth initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally and collaboratively across our company to support business leaders in setting and refining their strategies, evaluate new strategic opportunities, and identify, and implement strategic partnerships that align with Zillow's mission and objectives.
Responsibilities
Lead cross-company strategic projects to identify, analyze, and develop innovative partnerships that drive growth and are aligned with strategic priorities
Represent Zillow in negotiations with existing and prospective partners, and maintain positive relationships with key partners across various industries and markets
Develop deep understanding of Zillow business to surface new opportunities to advance company strategy
Support leaders in the development and refinement of their strategies, and support them in defining opportunities to accelerate or augment their business
Engage with senior leaders across Zillow, providing well-researched and data-driven recommendations to share and influence the company's strategic decisions
Collaborate with internal teams, including product, engineering, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful execution and integration of partnership initiatives
Review and report on partnership performance, making data-informed decisions to optimize and improve processes and program effectiveness continually
Look out for industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities to advise ongoing strategic planning
Who you are
- Demonstrated success in driving partnerships, from inception to negotiation and management, with a track record of driving a measurable impact
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze data and present insights effectively
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record to engage and influence senior leaders
- Passionate about results, self-motivated, and adaptable in navigating sophisticated and dynamic environments
- Passionate about making a lasting impact on our strategy and growth trajectory
- BA/BS degree in Business, Management or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 5 years of experience in corporate strategy, strategic partnerships, business development, or management consulting, preferably in technology or real estate sector
