About the role

The role of the Business Development Representative is to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers and setting appointments with our Account Executive team. The role requires a strong mindset, high-level work ethic, and a closer mentality.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate positive relationships with customers, from the first contact until our Account Executive closes the deal.   • Primary responsibility is driving appointments for top-line revenue through setting acquisition appointments for Account Executives
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails (100+ dials/day)
  • Localize your knowledge of trends, market conditions, and advertising tendencies based on market
  • Aggressively prospect opportunities in the market
  • Present our company to potential clients
  • Contact and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the paying prospects pool

Who you are

  • 0-2 years of inside sales/telesales
  • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude via the phone and in person
  • Online advertising sales background is a plus
  • High ethical values and integrity
  • Ability to prioritize and utilize time management
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience preferred
  • College Degree is preferred
