Senior Dynatrace Engineer – Observability & APM – Hybrid (Vienna, VA)

Salary: $60hr – $65/hr (negotiable)
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Dynatrace Engineer to lead enterprise observability initiatives for a large-scale environment. This role is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Dynatrace solutions across complex infrastructure and cloud ecosystems.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in APM, infrastructure monitoring, or observability
- 3 years of hands-on Dynatrace implementation experience
- Proven experience leading enterprise-scale Dynatrace deployments
- Strong knowledge of Dynatrace components including OneAgent, ActiveGate, cluster management, APIs, and SmartStack
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Strong scripting experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
- Solid understanding of Linux and Windows systems administration
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Compensation
Compensation: $60.00 – $65.00 per hour*
This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
