Position Title: Cloud Architect - MS Azure and MS Dynamics 365
Location: Ashburn, Virginia - hybrid (1 - 2 days a week)
We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect with expertise in Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365 (D365) to support enterprise cloud modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable cloud solutions, collaborate with engineering teams, and contribute to the development of future-state cloud architecture strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and define future-state Azure infrastructure architecture.
- Support cloud modernization and migration initiatives.
- Develop architecture roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
- Create architecture diagrams, technical designs, and implementation plans.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Assist in developing multi-region and high-availability cloud solutions.
- Provide technical guidance for Azure services, networking, storage, and security.
- Participate in architecture reviews and governance activities.
- Support Azure-based AI and cloud-native solution initiatives.
- Document architecture standards, best practices, and operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of cloud architecture and engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services and architecture.
- Experience with Dynamics 365 (D365) environments.
- Knowledge of Azure networking, security, identity, and governance.
- Experience designing highly available and scalable cloud solutions.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- Experience within large enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with cloud modernization programs and migration strategies.
- Experience supporting financial services or regulated industries.
Compensation: 70 -80/hr on w2. This is the targeted compensation range for this role. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
