Key Responsibilities
- Prepare hot and cold food items using standardized recipes and production sheets
- Ensure all food is prepared and held at proper temperatures for quality and safety
- Receive, inspect, label, date, and properly store all incoming inventory
- Rotate stock and maintain organized walk-ins and storage areas
- Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times
- Control food waste and contribute ideas for cost and labor efficiencies
- Support daily production needs and step in where needed to ensure smooth operations
- Verify completion and quality of food for catered events
- Assist in training dishwashers, catering associates, and temporary staff
- Support off-site catering setups including stations such as pasta, stir-fry, carving, and grilling
- Participate in tastings and event execution as needed
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen, prep areas, and dish rooms
- Proven dependability and strong work ethic
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift (up to 60 lbs with assistance)
