Zildjian/Vic Firth - Global Leader in Cymbals, Drumsticks, and Mallets is looking for a Customs Shipper/Inventory Assistant!
POSITION SUMMARY
Maintains custom drumstick inventory accuracy. Ships custom orders accurately and on time. Performs cycle counts as required and participates in year-end physical inventory. Other Inventory assignments as needed. Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as a team member, ability to prioritize their day effectively, demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pull parts for custom program orders, ship according to instructions, and transacts in SyteLine
- Verifies all artwork on custom orders and notifying appropriate person of errors
- Verifies counts on all Custom weight, locates in inventory and transacts in SyteLine
- Picks parts for Stampers from custom/Kanban areas as required and transacts in SyteLine
- Monitors order system for new Custom orders. Communicates with Zildjian Sales Support and Artist Relations representatives regularly regarding Custom Order details, changes, etc. Expected to keep up with these communications and to communicate respectfully and professionally at all times.
- Maintains accurate counts, clearly labels and locates into inventory all Kanban sticks and transacts in SyteLine
- Manual shipments of samples for artist relations
- Counting inventory parts as needed and/or assigned
- Operates propane & electric fork trucks, including a high-rise turret truck, and pallet jacks to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Manages REWORK materials, verifies packet accuracy, counts and locates within SyteLine
- Assist/Backup for Geodis shipments
- Assist/Backup for building kits for mallet room and secondary cell
- Assist/Backup for Receiving
- Able to work as a contributing Inventory Control Team Member
- Obey all safety instructions, practices and postings
- Maintain good housekeeping in assigned area
- Unplanned activities, other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands of the job includes operating material handling equipment, bending, and reaching. The job requires lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. Corrected vision of 20/40 required.
