We are seeking a high-performing and relationship-driven Technical Sales Representative to lead strategic OEM sales growth throughout the Eastern region (Quebec and Ontario) of Canada. This role is designed for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a consultative, customer-focused environment and is motivated by developing long-term partnerships, expanding market presence, and driving profitable growth.


The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting some of the most innovative and rapidly growing industries including Data Centers, HVAC OEMs, Air Handling Units (AHUs), Chillers, Automotive, Retrofit, Energy, Agriculture, and other thermal management applications.


This position offers the opportunity to operate with a high level of autonomy while collaborating closely with engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams to develop customized technical solutions for customers across the region.


We are looking for an individual who combines strong commercial instincts with technical aptitude, strategic thinking, and the ability to build trusted relationships at multiple organizational levels.


Technical Sales Representative

Your main responsibilities will be:

Strategic Business Development

  • Drive regional sales growth by identifying, developing, and securing new OEM business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans aligned with company growth initiatives and long-term market expansion goals.
  • Build executive-level relationships with customers, engineering teams, procurement leaders, and decision-makers.
  • Position the company as a trusted technical partner by delivering value-driven solutions and consultative support.
  • Expand market penetration within high-growth industries including Data Centers and advanced cooling applications.

Account Leadership & Customer Partnership

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing OEM accounts while identifying opportunities for organic growth.
  • Serve as the primary customer lead for all commercial and project-related activities including technical solutions, business strategy, pricing negotiations, forecasting, project execution, logistics coordination, quality resolution, product applications, payment and accounting discussions, and cross-functional communication to ensure customer satisfaction, operational alignment, and long-term account growth.
  • Partner closely with customers throughout the project lifecycle from concept development through implementation and ongoing support.

Technical & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work collaboratively with engineering and project teams to develop customized OEM solutions and support technical applications.
  • Assist customers with product selection, system integration, troubleshooting, and application guidance.
  • Coordinate internally across sales, engineering, operations, customer service, marketing and finance to ensure successful project execution.
  • Provide market feedback, competitive insights, and customer trends to leadership to support business strategy and product development.

Sales Operations & Forecasting

  • Maintain and manage sales pipeline activity through CRM and ERP platforms.
  • Create and manage all quote process from inception to production
  • Develop accurate forecasts, territory reporting, and opportunity tracking.
  • Support pricing discussions, commercial negotiations, and strategic account planning.
  • Attend customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events to expand visibility and strengthen market relationships.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development, account management, or consulting within the HVAC or thermal management industry.
  • Experience working with OEM customers and industrial markets.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, cooling technologies, and industrial applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers at multiple organizational levels.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated individual with strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel approximately 40–50% throughout the Eastern region of Canada and potentially other areas of North America as required.
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license required.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
