Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Appellate and Briefing Attorney based in Dallas, TX. The attorney will be responsible for preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, writing and filing motions, briefing and arguing appeals, and supporting court proceedings. The role involves in-depth analysis of legal issues, drafting appellate briefs, and coordinating case strategy with the legal team to ensure effective representation and advocacy for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency in Legal Document Preparation and drafting of appellate briefs
- Strong knowledge and experience in Appeals, including handling cases at state and federal appellate courts
- Expertise in legal Research and in-depth case analysis
- Proficiency in preparing and filing Motions and other court pleadings
- Familiarity with court procedures and processes, as well as litigation support
- Exceptional written advocacy and oral communication skills
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in Texas
- Ability to manage multiple cases and projects with strong organizational skills
- Prior experience in appellate law is required
