Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. You will also be involved in merchandising, stocking products, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions
• Handle cash and manage cash register operations accurately
• Provide product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement
• Upsell products and promote special offers to maximize sales
• Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure stock levels are adequate
• Assist with stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed
• Address customer inquiries with professionalism and effective phone etiquette
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in merchandising and product displays is a plus
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment focusing on Customer Service, Sales and Quality

Pay: $60,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
