In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the company, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong attention to detail, as well as excellent numerical and analytical skills. You will work closely with management to support the financial operations of the company.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and process payroll
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies
- Assist with budget preparation and monitoring
- Handle other financial and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Associate degree or higher in accounting or related field is preferred
- Professional certification (e.g. Certified Bookkeeper) is a plus
