GL/FA Accountant - Contador GL/FA

Position Summary

Position summary:

Responsible of General Ledger and Fixed Assets activities, including journal entries, account reconciliation, inter-company balancing, depreciation, and CIP reconciliation.

• Responsible for GL & FA activities
• Create, Calculate and Post journal entries
• GL and FA accounts reconciliation
• Inter-company account balancing
• GL & Fa Accounts analysis
• FA Depreciation Calculations
• CIP Reconciliation
• FA Capitalization process
• Month end closings and trial balance submissions to headquarters
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
• GL and FA additional projects as required
• Must be able to effectively communicate and interact with various levels of operating unit and headquarters personnel.
• Ensure all policies & procedures are updated & documented as necessary and encouraging excellent customer service to ZF operating units and corporate finance

Your profile as General Ledger and Fixed Assets Accountant

• Accounting or Finance Degree
• The ideal candidate with 2-4 years GL and FA experience.
• 80-90% Bilingual English/Spanish
• Strong analytical and problem solving
• High attention to detail
• A proactive approach with a dedication to teamwork
• Outstanding customer service, and continuous improvement are essential.
• Very Good computer skills using MS Office. Knowledge in SAP/QAD systems will be a plus.
• MX and US GAAP knowledge.
• Strong Experience in Internal Controls
• The successful candidate must have high legal and ethical standards
