We are seeking an experienced NPM Buyer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Duncan, SC location. The role involves managing non-production material (NPM) procurement processes, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating supplier contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and ensuring alignment with company goals. The NPM Buyer will also collaborate with various departments to ensure cost-effectiveness and compliance with procurement protocols.
- Strong procurement and supplier management skills, including evaluating vendor performance and managing supplier relationships
- Experience in contract negotiation and cost analysis
- Proficiency in supply chain management and industrialization practices
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with procurement software
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous experience in automotive or manufacturing industries is a plus
- Experience in a JIT/JIS production environment is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
