Role
As a Full-Cycle Account Executive, you'll own the complete sales process—from sourcing to close—while also cultivating relationships with brokers, carriers, and HR tech partners that drive new business opportunities. You'll prospect into mid-market employers (500-5,000 employees) and collaborate with our founders on building and scaling our channel strategy with key partners like benefits brokers and HR platforms. This role owns both direct employer sales and strategic channel relationships that drive new pipeline activity.
This role will require a broad understanding of employee benefits technology and services. This individual will excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with strong negotiating skills and the ability to showcase our products and services in a compelling way. Often tasked with delivering complex presentations while leading and coordinating sales support, it's essential that our sales rep be organized, personable, and professional. Collaborating with the product team, you'll provide insights to shape future features based on customer interactions while meeting monthly and quarterly targets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Outbound Prospecting via Apollo, LinkedIn, Phone, Text
- Responsible for engaging channel partners such as brokers, consultants, advisers and carriers to build relationships that lead to qualified leads
- Responsible for engaging employers directly to build relationships that lead to qualified leads and vendor/broker introductions
Pipeline & Funnel Management via Zoho et al.
- Build a visible and qualified pipeline to exceed expectations
- Track all activity in Zoho CRM following company process
- Develop and implement action plans through comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques based on interactions and results in the field
- Help refine and iterate on the Sales process
- Prepare a variety of weekly status reports, including pipeline activity, closings, follow-up, forecast, and adherence to goals
Travel
- Up to 30% travel
- Partner with leadership on trade shows, seminars, and partner events
- Be the face of Zevo HR Systems in the market
Qualify / Demo
- Achieve sales goals by assessing prospect needs and following a defined selling process, often utilizing product demos and presentations
- Demonstrates strong sales strategy ability, crafting and presenting client offers and helping the team identify and navigate alternative paths to making the sale
- Collaborate with an aligned client (prospect) team to ensure mutual understanding of the opportunity and the ability to deliver on it
Follow-up / Farming
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from marketing activity
- Maintaining and building productive long-term relationships with channel partners
- Strategically cross-sell with our customer success team to cultivate additional business within existing accounts
Negotiate and Close Assistance
- Accountable for achieving Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) sales goal
- Effectively partner, develop and own deal strategy with your sales leader, the transition team, and other sales support resources at the appropriate time in the selling process
Team Interaction and Overview Meetings
- Develop and foster an environment of teamwork, collaboration and trust with sales support, marketing, product and operations
- Weekly pipeline reviews, forecast meetings
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of B2B sales experience, with 2 years selling technology/services to mid-market employers
- Track record of hitting or exceeding quota
- Experience with HCM, payroll, benefits administration, or related HR technology
- Proven ability to run discovery, deliver demos, and close deals
- Willingness to travel up to 30% (industry events, partner meetings, key prospect visits)
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing broker/consultant relationships in benefits space
- Channel sales experience
- Bachelor's degree (not required if you have the experience and skills)

Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
