This is a contract recruiting opportunity supporting high-volume hourly manufacturing hiring.
General Summary:
The Contract Recruiter- Manufacturing is responsible for sourcing, recruiting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, skilled trades, and production-related positions. This role partners with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop recruiting strategies, and ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. The Contract Recruiter- Manufacturing plays a key role in maintaining staffing levels to support operational goals and business growth.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
· Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for industrial and manufacturing positions.
· Source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking events, and community partnerships.
· Screen resumes, coordinate pre-hire assessments, conduct phone interviews, and evaluate candidate qualifications.
· Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and operations teams.
· Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
· Extend job offers and coordinate background screenings.
· Attend job fairs, hiring events, and workforce development programs to promote employer branding.
· Build and maintain relationships with technical schools, trade schools, and community organizations.
· Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to document recruitment activities and candidate status.
· Support onboarding efforts to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
· Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
· 2 years of recruiting experience, preferably in industrial, manufacturing, logistics, or skilled trades environments.
· Knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment laws.
· Experience using applicant tracking systems and recruiting platforms, Oracle preferred.
· Strong interviewing, communication, and relationship-building skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and recruiting technologies.
