Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative Manager to oversee, support, and grow our network of independent sales manufacturers’ representative firms across North America. This on-site role, based in our Vista, California headquarters, will be responsible for building strong relationships with our reps, driving sales performance, and ensuring alignment with Zettler Group’s strategic objectives.
You will serve as the primary liaison between Zettler Group and our independent sales network, providing them with the tools, training, and support they need to effectively represent our products and grow our market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support a network of independent manufacturers’ representative firms across North America.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue and growth targets.
- Regularly communicate with reps to provide product updates, marketing materials, and competitive insights.
- Monitor rep performance and implement improvement plans where needed.
- Conduct joint customer visits, trade shows, and product trainings with representatives.
- Ensure reps align with Zettler Group’s brand, policies, and sales processes.
- Analyze territory performance, market trends, and competitor activity.
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, marketing, operations, customer service) to ensure reps have the resources they need to succeed.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts to senior management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of sales management experience, preferably with independent manufacturers’ representatives or channel sales.
- Strong understanding of the electronics, electromechanical, or industrial components industry.
- Proven track record of driving sales growth through a rep network.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to travel within North America (up to 40%).
- Must be able to work on-site in Vista, California.
