Responsibilities:
- Execute a bold vision of excellence in dance education, designing inquiry-driven, technically rigorous lessons that inspire creativity, artistic expression, and confidence in all students.
- Build a vibrant, inclusive classroom culture where students develop a genuine love for dance and families feel connected to a strong, welcoming community.
- Use data, student work, and research-based instructional tools to monitor progress, refine instruction, and support student growth in technique, performance, and artistry.
- Develop authentic, trusting relationships with students and families to support each child's personal, social-emotional, and artistic development.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and engage in ongoing professional learning, embracing feedback and coaching to continuously strengthen your practice.
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives and provide instructional support as needed, ensuring dance is meaningfully integrated into the broader school experience.
- Lead a high-quality after-school dance program that deepens students' passion, builds technical skill, and expands opportunities for performance and enrichment.
