Jackson, MS – Line Cook

Zest Culinary Services (formerly MMI Dining Systems) is seeking a Line Cook to join our team at a multi-use hospitality and conference facility located in Northwest Jackson, just north of I-220. This unique operation includes a hotel, meeting and event spaces, and full food and beverage services. We are looking for an energetic and dependable culinary professional who enjoys working in hospitality and takes pride in preparing quality meals while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
• Ensure food is prepared and served in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with special events and catered dinners as needed
• Support overall guest satisfaction through excellent food preparation

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or line cook experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and food quality
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work flexible hours, including: Early morning shifts through the afternoon
  Occasional evening events and special dinners
