Zest Culinary Services is looking for an experienced Food Service Directorto lead our dining operation at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama. This is an opportunity to bring your creativity, leadership, and food service experience to a college campus where great food and genuine hospitality are an important part of the student experience.

And one of the best parts? This position follows the school calendar, with paid time off during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Spring Breaks, plus a more limited work schedule during the summer months.

What You’ll Do

As Food Service Director, you will have overall responsibility for the success of the dining operation, including:

• Leading, developing, and motivating the food service team
• Overseeing menu planning, food production, purchasing, and inventory
• Managing budgets, food costs, labor, and P&L performance
• Planning and executing special events and campus dining experiences
• Building strong relationships with our client and the campus community
• Maintaining high standards for food quality, sanitation, safety, and service
• Bringing new ideas to the table and creating a dining program students enjoy

Who We’re Looking For

Hospitality should be in your DNA. You may currently be a Chef, Food Service Manager, General Manager, Food Service Director, or similar hospitality leaderwho is ready for your next opportunity.

The right candidate will have:

• Leadership experience in food service, hospitality, or culinary operations
• Experience with purchasing, food production, budgeting, and P&L management
• Strong communication and team-building skills
• The ability to take initiative and manage a fast-paced operation
• A creative approach to menus, events, and the overall dining experience
• A passion for developing a friendly, efficient team that delivers outstanding hospitality
